Best Buy has a lower spec'd Zephyrus G14 on sale for $750 as part of the "Deal of the Day". The better deal IMO is the excellent open box option for $588. It's definitely not for a hardcore gamer but the build quality, processor, RAM, and dedicated graphics in a 3.64 pound chassis is hard to beat for this price.
Keep in mind there is no webcam on this generation G14 models. The speakers are pretty decent and battery life is good with 5800HS. I highly recommend turning off the "breathing" lights in Armory Crate when the laptop sleeps. I find it annoying and many reviewers agree.

It's not particularly good imo as a "general use" laptop because the fans kick in too often for a pleasant experience (personally), and the screen size to weight ratio is actually quite bad.
It's not particularly good at gaming either because it has a GTX 1650 with a smaller than usual screen (bigger screens are better imo for gaming) that has slow response times.
It's a laptop for those who don't mind compromising on general usage experience for some gaming capability (and vice-versa)

The G14 has dedicated graphics for light gaming, a better processor, and upgradable RAM.
Also, the Lenovo has WiFi 5 (802.11ac) versus WiFi 6 (802.11ax) on the G14 but that is usually a cheap upgrade ($20-$30) for Lenovo models since they typically have slotted WiFi.
Also this is one of the only 14 inch laptop lines (razer makes the other). Which is much better for traveling vs a 15 inch

Acer swift 14 with the 3050ti is also a good option
Cant compare because none of the other ones are under 4lbs with a small form factor. If you dont care about portability sure, but many people do.
