In general, yes. Plenty of YouTube videos on how to convert. Best to find a video for your specific model however.

I don't see anything about it's efficiency. How many watt/hours can one expect on a gallon of gas?

FYI high elevation folks- I have found that the propane burns more consistently than even the best non-ethanol fuels. If you camp in the higher elevations it's very very nice to use propane vs gas because it's more reliable at providing consistent power up high (7,500 feet and up).

Also I don't think propane burning ones ever have the remote for the obvious safety concerns of leaving the propane tank open and connected to the generator while the generator is off.
Also propane has a shelf life of 30 years but in reality the propane has an indefinite shelf life it's the cylinder that will rust and go bad before the propane so with an aluminum tank and quality fittings you can store propane as long as u like compared to 3 to 6 months for gasoline so propane is also ideal for a backup home generator

Good info. How do you position it outside and keep it safe from rain etc or is it under say your RV canopy or something? Especially if you leave it connected and ready to fire up in the morning.
While camping it stays out in the weather and plugged in. Still going after 6 years. At home it's stored in the garage

Does anybody know of a deal for a generator that can do 220v?
I think you meant 240v. Don't know of any current deals, but there's a lot of info that might help you if you can elaborate on what you need.

What would you be using it for? Do you need an inverter generator (good for sensitive electronic equipment, LED lights, & smart appliances) with reduced noise or can you get away with a less expensive, louder traditional gen (non-inverter) that has more THD? How much wattage (starting and running) do you need?

Not sure if this helps, but typically you won't find a 120v/240v 30A outlet on any inverter generators under 5000 running watts. There are a good number of inverter gen options that fall into this category:

WEN GN625i (6250/5000 watts. $685 on Amazon)
Champion 100519 (6250/5000 watts. $730 on Amazon)
Champion 100520 (8750/7000 watts. $1100 on Amazon)
Check out Harbor Freight's Predator options too.

There are also safe ways to convert a 120v to 240v on a 120v generator (e.g., using a step-up transformer), but wouldn't recommend doing this for someone that isn't certain about what they are doing and why.

In for one, not dual fuel, good luck getting propane tanks after a hurricane
The neat thing about dual fuel is you don't have to.

They're not saying that. Read the comment more carefully - they're referring to the other, lower priced Remote Start model linked by a commenter.
