For example I used 21045 zip code and the store in that zip had 3 in stock at $100 (app and website said none in stock). Other stores around the region had prices from 267 (standard sale price recently) to 197 to 100 - when looking for inventory and pricing via brickseek.
Based on what I saw on Brickseek (ignored Walmart App and website since they said zero inventory for that particular store) I went to the store -- saw 3 of the units with a big clearance sign for $ 100 in the lawn and garden area -- got help and loaded one up on the cart, paid and left. Very glad I checked Brickseek and decided to just jump in car and check.
NOTE: It's a pretty big box - but fit into my Honda CRV SUV. Approx 110 pounds weight according to the box. Strongly recommend having someone help you at the store to lift into a cart and into your vehicle after purchase. At home I was able to actually edge it out the trunk of the SUV and lower it to the ground gently by myself.
Details re: Expert Grill Kamado from Walmart (ps - it seems kinda similar to the Akron Grills but not exact imho).

I use to work for Walmart and have long been a SD'er. I also wondered about how fast/accurate brickseek was - so I tested it.
Keep in mind this was several years ago 5ish, but after performing a price change in store time varied a bit but it showed up on brickseek with the new price anywhere between a few minutes to over night, but always within a day. So I don't think they're holding anything back for paid folks. I'm fairly confident it uploads and is available to everyone as soon as the data is scraped. However paying people can set up alerts for things to watch for, or % drops. There are dedicated resellers that come in and clean categories when they see a profitable drop.
As a side note on pricing and markdown cadence: each region has different "fall seasons" and each store has different floorplans and traits. If your region is super mild year round you'll have a tougher time catching seasonal deals like this.
Even as a non-employee SD'er I still get the occasional ymmv Walmart win in categories I'm interested in.
TLDR- it's not for everyone- think about it.
Exactly. I thought about it and I'll go for the barrel shaped with extra rack on top. That's more like the style for my cooking habit.
I would never live somewhere that I didn't like it. Portland calling you to go home.
