Expert Grill Kamado Charcoal Grill (In Store) - $100 - Clearance - Walmart B&M YMMV

YMMV - Use Brickseek to see potentially accurate inventory and pricing instead of Walmart App or website imho.

QA note: link is for reference https://www.walmart.com/ip/seort/210309336

https://brickseek.com/walmart-inv...=210309336
For example I used 21045 zip code and the store in that zip had 3 in stock at $100 (app and website said none in stock). Other stores around the region had prices from 267 (standard sale price recently) to 197 to 100 - when looking for inventory and pricing via brickseek.

Based on what I saw on Brickseek (ignored Walmart App and website since they said zero inventory for that particular store) I went to the store -- saw 3 of the units with a big clearance sign for $ 100 in the lawn and garden area -- got help and loaded one up on the cart, paid and left. Very glad I checked Brickseek and decided to just jump in car and check.

NOTE: It's a pretty big box - but fit into my Honda CRV SUV. Approx 110 pounds weight according to the box. Strongly recommend having someone help you at the store to lift into a cart and into your vehicle after purchase. At home I was able to actually edge it out the trunk of the SUV and lower it to the ground gently by myself.

Didn't realize Brickseek went from just providing unreliable data to a monthly paid service for unreliable data. Only shows inventory for 1 store now, and 24 miles away (I have 4 within 5 miles of my house).

Thanks, OP ~ Rjsh.

Got to the Dobbin Walmart at Noon. They had 2 left. Wrestled one into a cart, it fit easily into the side door of our van.

Great deal for $100.

Bought a kamado vision elite on a costcco clearance back in 2010- took it out of the box this summer- (I have mental slickdeal issues) man it's heavy like two men and a boy heavy. Finally got it in the years and put it together (it required assembly not sure about this one) Uses a ton of charcoal, yeah it gets hot but so does my Weber. Idk- I didn't find it was a great fit for me, others experience probably vary -

TLDR- it's not for everyone- think about it.

Is it just me or are most people never able to replicate any of these clearance deals? I've heard a rumor that brickseek holds back all the clearance info for their paying members before letting others discover it so I assume they're the ones clearing out lock stock
I'm with you. Seems like I can rarely replicate these deals

For $100 this would be a steal. It's obviously not as good as a ceramic that can hold heat longer, but for everything other than brisket this thing works just fine. I had an Akorn years ago and it's one of my favorite grills that I've ever had

I've owned an Acorn and several Kamado Joe's and Green Eggs. There is a huge difference between the two in quality, performance and price. The point of Kamado is that the ceramic will hold temp and moisture for very long periods of time. I really liked my Acorn and it got me interested enough to get a real Kamado.

Agree completely. I've had both for years. Just got rid of the Akron because I had 3 smokers and a Webber.
Heat retention/stability and fuel usage is much better on a ceramic. Having said that, a Akorn (or this if it's equivalent) is a great entry level Kamodo smoker to get you in the game and see if you like it.

IMO, Kamodo is gray for low and slow smoking. It can be used for traditional high temp grilling but it's higher maintenance than a quality propane.

I'm guessing that the feeling is mutual and most Red AZ residents would love to see you living back in Portland as well.
