Olfa makes amazing utility knifes and mini saws, all made in Japan. Incredibly inexpensive:

Engineer makes all sorts of hand tools, amazing quality, I think all or at least most are made in Japan. Plus they have a sweet dinosaur mascot: https://www.amazon.co.j
Anex is another quality tool, most are made in Japan as well:
https://www.amazon.co.j
Nisaku/Tomita Cutlery makes awesome gardening and home improvement tools in Japan though sometimes you can get them cheaper in the US through Sun Joe: https://www.amazon.co.j
Hayashi Cutlery makes super high quality scissors:

The more items you buy the cheaper shipping is per item.
If you look around playing with different keywords, you can find more, there is a lot of stuff made in Japan still that we don't get in stores here, especially hand tools where metal quality is important.
Here's an article about the difference between phillips, JIS and pozidriv: https://bike.bikegremli
Edit: upon closer look, those appear to be JIS 1,2,3 tips which also work in phillips

Great time to head over to Amazon.co.jp, select USD and a US shipping address, and setup an order. You won't save money on ordering just one or two items typically but if you do a bunch you can save a ton of money compared to the prices charged on Amazon US.

thanks to modern monetary theory that japan faithfully follows, their currency is about 135 to 1 usd, which is 20 years low, with 300% debt to gpd ratio with no end in sight, i don't think we have seen the worst yet.
but in the meantime, anything you can think of are cheaper if you ca npay by JPN in japan before companies get their act together and increase in price to adjust for lowered value (and i think will continue to be lowered).
