Before hearing from the usual suspects about how this is slow, doesn't have enough ram, insufficient storage, etc., we know its limitations. Some of us are not as important as you, and we don't need every one of our laptops to be cutting edge. I'm posting this because it is the best price I have seen for this setup, and it will suit the needs of many users. Enjoy!

Thanks OP and in 4 1.
You just need to have right expectation of it. It won't replace my gaming rig that run everything at [email protected] But it will help me digest youtube videos introducing some complex ideas with some texts that's too difficult to read on my phone. And not like an Ipad I can do whatever I want with it not being treated as an idiot.

For this price it even comes with LTE. No brainer really. You can ssh into your servers from a train.

You compare this to a laptop but it does not even come with a keyboard

I have Go2 with M3 (instead of Pentium) 4GB RAM, and 64GB eMMC (business model), and I use it every day.
Perfect for web browsing and writing documents.
It even upgraded to windows 11.

I'm not sure if surface go 2 was ever released with LTE on the base pentium go model. I believe you had to upgrade to the m3 model w 8gb of ram to even have the option to add lte.

Surface go 3 introduced lte for even the base models.

Maybe just check w Adriana over phone.
I do have the m3 lte model and it's a little sluggish even when using edge but really does run everything Including Remote Desktop which allows me to get work done w out any slow downs.

I got to play with a new Go 3 with a 6500Y processor. Seems like there isn't a huge increase in performance, at least not one justifying the $115 price difference.
