If all you are doing is streaming this will be very good, you can prob even pull off some editing off of these in spare time.

Cool Part about this chasis - you can put a full i7-6700HQ in it. These are crazy powerful little desktops. I keep one in my cluster to spin up just for high demand processes.
I don't think this is a great price. I got a similar Lenovo, but with an 8th gen 6-core processor for about this price a couple of weeks ago. It was a refurb on ebay.

I'm curious what type of cluster and workloads you're running. I started playing around with Proxmox after I got a couple of the $88 Acer Celeron. Running pfsense, portainer, Adguard and it's been rock solid

I have a similar sized HP to this Dell and an Intel NUC in my VMware ESXi cluster. These are great little form factor machines for quiet operation and good power and space saving functionality for home labs. Mine run VMs such as Splunk, Plex, Ansible, Nessus, Windows 10 workstation VM, Tdarr for media transcoding, etc. These are the CPU compute servers for my cluster and I have a Synology NAS that handles the shared storage for these ESXi hosts. Like previous poster, I would consider getting one of these to add CPU capacity for VMs that need CPU capacity. For home labs, the ram is usually the limiting factor for clusters, as it is easy to run out with many VMs, but home labs don't see much CPU needs vs. real business clusters since they are sitting around doing nothing most of the time unless they are being actively used in a lab experiment.

Agree with others that this is way overpriced. 6700T Passmark is roughly 7200 and has the older HD520 graphics which doesn't support QuickSync for Plex transcoding and doesn't natively support Windows 11.
I have two Optiplex 3060's running in my home lab with Proxmox as the Hypervisor, one with an 8500T (6C/6T) and one with an 8100T (4C/4T). For most server related workloads, physical cores mean more than hyperthreaded ones.
If you need basic needs, you can pick up an 8100T version of the Optiplex / Prodesk / Lenovo for around $120-150. If you want the 6 cores, then you're looking at $160-200. Throw in 32GB of RAM for another $60 or so and you're well ahead of what is posted here.
If you don't care about Plex or Windows 11 and just want a basic thing to play around with, you can get one with an i5 4570T for around $60-75 or an i5 6500T for around $90-100.
