So I have this, and my wife has some similar model. I absolutely love this device. I dual boot Windows and Ubuntu for my desktop PC. I have a Windows 11 tablet PC that has plenty of power, but weighs a little too much to drag around and has mayb 3 1/2 hours of use on a full charge and a day's worth of suspend. I use this chrome book and have it laying about for days without plugging it in to recharge. I open it up and its ready to go. No real wait to boot. No annoying array of pop ups and performance drag when I've reached the desktop. It's just there to act as a web browser. I can run Android apps and games. It's not my main computing platform. But it gets a lot of use anyway because most of the time I can just grab it with one hand take it wherever I'm going and open it up in my lap and do whatever I need to do on the net. Sometimes I even use it to control my Xbox. And I've used it with Xbox cloud gaming with a wireless controller and also Stadia with its wifi controller. I think too soon it will stop getting updates, and web pages will start getting even hungrier for RAM and processing power for it to even handle. But right now its got all the power and convenience I need. If you hate using a smart phone to do anything but passively browse things, this is a nice solution.

Interesting review of this chromebook, it is not configured the same way has the best buy one, but specs are pretty close. It does have hdmi slot though.
It should give a feel for what this laptop is like and if it would be good for your needs.

These are the official specs. The Best Buy specs are kinda sus like how they called the Processor an "MT8173c".

*Edit: Oh yea, can someone check out if the USBs are 3.1/3.2 or 2.0? Best Buy specs say the USBs are 3.1/3.2 while the official Lenovo sites say they're both 2.0 (Check the image at the bottom).

I have multiple USB C Chromebooks and I've yet to see one of these hubs that won't work with them. You can have a bunch of USB ports, HDMI out, power in, and even ethernet, all through the one USB C port.

I actually returned a MT8183C Lenovo about 6 months ago after comparing it to my N4000 and N4020 Chromebooks. The MT8183C can barely crack 10,000 on Googles Octane test which I consider the bare minimum for a Chromebook today. That said, this is a nice deal for a budget convertible Chromebook with a touchscreen.

I just picked this up and found it does not have a HDMI port like it states. just usb-c. must be black Friday version. Anyone notice no HDMI?

Almost happened to me when I was in the PC area and looking over the display model. They have a OLDER version on display SKU ends in 35 and NO touchscreen. This one for the deal I got ends ends in 37 and has touchscreen Peace

I didn't know about that, thanks! That quells the issue I have with not being able to charge the laptop and watch movies at the same time using HDMI.

It's very easy to debloat a Fire 10 HD. I've done it to 5 of my Fire HD 10 tablets and I basically use them for Youtube or TV Shows when I eat.

U shouldn't really need one just dont install apps you dont trust and use Adblock in chrome

easier in the past. not so easy and less flexible now. no more xda supported

did you know adblock extension can read all your email contents and whatever you type on any page that you have it active? they are just the middle guy trying to grab whatever contents that you are viewing or using.
