I am now researching BMO Harris and their $500 cash bonus when you have a total of at least $7,500 in qualifying direct deposits within the first 90 days.

May I ask if this is listed on the terms, or if you called them to get the info?
I couldn't find it listed anywhere but I did it with my payroll and it worked instantly.

Same, although I haven't had to deal with customer service yet either; I'm sure it's as frustrating as any online only bank where you can't go into a branch and speak with someone face to face. I signed up earlier this year when SD had the $75 CB and I think SoFi was also offering a $300 DD bonus at the time as well and had no problem receiving both. Mobile app is super fast and works great (although it is kind of "busy" IMO, a lot going on in it and kind of hard sometimes to find stuff in there). I've been impressed and moved basically everything over from an AmEx account that was my HYSA for many years. I was pleasantly surprised that SoFi seems to be staying competitive on rates and is still consistently half a point or so above most of their competitors.

But 53rd does not pay any interest and their goes down constantly. They lock your account too. uneducated CSR.
They make you to visit branch to open account even if u have over 820 credit score
At the time I wasn't interested in their new checking account. But then later on I figured the interest rate on their checking account is pretty good so, maybe I'd open a new account. When I tried to open my account online and it says I can't. What's the deal? I wasn't trying to open it for the bonus (but if the bonus happened to post anyway cool). I think that they did not actually close my account properly as I keep getting app notifications, but I can't login as at least my login is disabled. I did call in to confirm my old account is closed, at the front line agent said yes. 🤔

When I signed up, the interest rate was 1.50%, then increased to 1.80%, now up to 2.0% - I like the fact that they do adjust the rate as necessary
