Here we go again. Now they made it 4K. You pull one Ethernet cable for this thing, and it is the only advantage vs two dedicated 5MP cameras, It is 4608X1728 8MP total for two split cameras at 150 degrees of view, so each is one is 2304 pixels. You can get two 5MP Reolink RLC-510A for $90-$100 total, and each will give you 2560x1920 (5.0 Megapixels), and each has 80 degrees of view. Notice 198 pixels cut vertical for this Duo thing. So two cheap 5MP will give you 160 degrees of view, 5120x1920 image, better reliability, NVR compatibility and redundancy for less money. Yes, you pull one cable, but you pay dearly for that. Don't even want to start talking about their RLC-812A 8MP cameras that get on sale for $60+. For a bit more you will get inherently better coverage and image with twice the resolution. To summarize - it is a poor man wide view camera which is way overpriced for what it is. Get two 5MP, or better two 8MP for the money. RLC-812A color vision 8MP is $66 from Amazon now after coupon, it has 85 degree view. You will get 170 degree FOV, 16MP, twice the redundancy, more FPS and processing power for $132 vs $112

Not a stupid question at all. Not sure about this particular one yet, but most of the other ReoLink 4k cameras are h.265 only (no fallback to h.264.) That has caused some issues with other brand products/software if they can't support the way ReoLink does h.265.
