Looks like Flirc raspberry pi cases are on sale at Amazon. One of the better passive cooling cases you can buy. But not for those who need GPIO access.

Pi 4 - $11.95 [amazon.com]
Pi 3 - $10.95 [amazon.com]
Pi Zero - $9.95 [amazon.com]
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

The FLIRC case is good because it provides passive cooling. It's good enough to run with a mild overclock. The fit and finish is high quality.

If you need to have GPIO access, the pins are hidden under the case, but a GPIO extender cable (or 40-pin IDE cable) will fit through a slot on the case.

For those of you looking for a Pi, Adafruit reliably has them on Wednesday mornings.
those are extinct
what am i supposed to put inside of it?

Oh good. Now all the people who hoarded Raspberry Pis but never used them for any projects will have a case to put them into.

I have one of these for my Raspberry Pi 3... but. I find it funny that it's on sale for $10 for Raspberry Pi Zero.. which costs $5.

If I only use rpi3b+ for retropie and emulator games, is it worth upgrading to rpi4? Any games after 16 bit is unplayable and laggy on RPi3 b+

No gains at all really.

A 40 pin IDE cable works too? Did not know that.

Where are the products that mix 3d printed parts with a manufacturered part?

Sell us a copper heatsink and give us the stl files that go with it why we need to spent $11 for something that cost $2 of nylon and spent all that greenhouse moving it across the ocean everytime.

That's obviously wrong since the Pi4 has a much faster CPU.

In theory the copper heat sink without an active fan would only do so much before not being able to dissapate the heat. This uses the outside of the case as well as contact for heat transfer.
