It looks tiny next to that couch. Less than 5 feet tall.
What percent of these arcade1up cabinets are collecting dust after a couple of months? Single game (maybe you could add your own?), standing over a small cabinet, seems like the novelty and nostalgia would wear off after a few play thrus.
Looking at some reviews, I would be careful if buying it...looks like it might break rather easily...and its Too close to the price of a Legends Ultimate IMO...got my LU for $450 (back before the record shattering inflation, not sure what they are priced now) ..but my LU now has over 2000 games..
I hope you up your game soon A1U, only 1 game for this price is still ridiculous IMO
I have an ALU with 2k games but I would consider this something quite different. This is more true to the arcade experience for this game. Sure I can play this on the ALU and even use an aim track gun but it's still not the same

I had a few arcade 1ups that I got for cheap and sold them all. I was lucky to actually be able to sell them all for more than I paid for them since I got them on sale or at the military exchange etc but I recently got an Arcade Guys Pi4 arcade it's amazing. I think most people would be better off saving up and getting something nicer. As someone else mentioned, these are tiny as hell and I'm 6'2 and found the arcade 1ups to be super uncomfortable to stand and play.

I wish more people knew about this, I love my legends machine! I really need to update CoinopsX though.

Got one with coin ops too. Yea when I get time I want to see how hard it would be to upgrade with maybe raspberry pi or something to get at least Nintendo 64 quality games

For those new to Arcades. If you want a Arcade room experience Arcade1up provides it. If you want the most games on a single arcade machine the Legends Ultimate mini/standard and MVSX (which is kind of in between these sizes offers it in a starter package. However, most newish Arcade1up machines run on android and you can side loan other games onto them also. None of these have significantly more power than a $40 pi. You can run a build a pedestal real cheap and any 5yr old PC will blow all out of the water. If you put all these options in a single room this T2 game and Ridge Racer both by arcade1up would probably get the most use.

Also what Maniac would push that up against the couch? Not an end table.
And yeah, totally agree about the nostalgia wearing off. From experience, you're better off building a Raspberry Pi, buying a couple controllers and hooking up to a TV if you're on a nostalgia quest. Less clutter, probably better frames, more games.
