I have had the DeWalt, Milwaukee, and Ridgid versions of these boxes. For the most functionality at the best value, these Ridgids are the way to go. But get Milwaukee if you're a contractor using them daily as those are more robust, with better wheels and stouter pull out handle.
I am now using a stack of Ridgid smalls attached to a Milwaukee base (with 3d printed feet).
These large rolling carts have the wheels and telescoping handle built in - you can stack the medium and small cases on top of these but you can't stack a large cart on top of a large cart.
I'm a contractor, I use these Ridgid cases daily, and they hold up well for what it's worth.

This is the V1 bottom box. They're on sale because V2 boxes are hitting the streets. Check out YouTube for differences. The V2 bottom boxes have 9" instead of 7" wheels, the lid is hinged instead of a lift-off, the handle is a bit beefier, and the handle/wheels are a removable unit, whereas they're fixed to the V1 bottom box here. However, I actually prefer these V1 bottom boxes because the handle collapses more. On the v2, the handle's minimum height is about twice as tall as on the V1, which makes it tough to slide it under a workbench. On these V1 boxes, it's not a problem. So either get these while you can, or skip it because you want to wait for the V2 to be on sale.
I don't see any of the others sizes or options yet.
At least on paper, I really like the changes they made to the new v2 large box. Addresses most of the issues I had with the v1 large box.
Other than the relentless off-gassing, I have no issues with the medium and small v1 boxes, so will keep those since they are compatible with v2. When is the new v2 large box available? Is it being sold in stores already?

Where did you get the 3d printed feet? The bottom rigid box weak point is it's handle. I'm looking to basically what you have done.
So unlike the Lifetime Service Agreement (LSA) on Ridgid tools, it looks like this is instead a "Full Lifetime Warranty" that is automatic and not registered (like the tools) on the ridgidpower.com website? The part numbers don't allow you to register these like a tool, so is there any action needed for the warranty, or is this just a "send it back if you have an issue" type of warranty?
Do you think the prices will be lower on Black Friday or about the same?
I could see them being completely gone and replaced by the 2.0 version come Black Friday. The stores around me are already stocking the new boxes with just a couple stragglers of version 1.0 left.
And don't pay attention to the online prices, they're priced cheaper In-store: $50, $30 and $20.

There's a lot of Packout stuff there, not much Ridgid unfortunately.
