That said, Costco sells 64GB model (4GB of RAM vs 3GB in the 32GB mode) with cover for $199 until 8/28. If you have access to Costco membership that is a much better deal IMO.

It's true, but my kid's is dying. These specs are weak though for sure. I'll hold out a little longer for deals.
System Files are in excess of 20 gigs then thrown in Apps that can't be deleted and you're at the limit.

Not to mention Samsung disables adoptive storage, so there's no way to convert a sdcard into internal storage.
The current fw on the fire tablet removed a lot of what fire toolbox could do - you can still install play store, but blocking ota and disabling ads is no longer possible
That's good to know but also disappointing. At least apple allows Google apps without issue.
