This seems to be a great deal on a Windows tablet that offers an alternative to an Android or iPad. It doesn't look like it would be a laptop replacement but should be good for media consumption, light document editing and general web browsing.
Marked down from a 499.99 original price, so it's a pretty good discount.

Ps. You're limited to the Windows App Store in S Mode and the selection is terrible. Can't even get an app for Zoom in there, forget about chrome or any other browser besides Edge.
This HP is not heavy for a Windows Tablet.
HP (and reviewers) say it weighs 1.32 LBS or 598 grams. Mine has not arrived yet to weigh.
The Lenovo Duet 3i which is a lower powered Windows tablet with a smaller 10.3" screen weighs 567 grams.
The Surface Go 3 with about the same power and a smaller 10.5" screen weights 544 grams. I do not know of a 500 gram Windows tablet, but a lot of Android/ IOS weigh a lot less.
Most Windows Tablets are offered with keyboard and attached kickstand because that's how people who want Windows tabs often use them. The weight does not matter as much when it sits on a table or a bed.
But Windows tablets are not for everyone, for sure.

Anyone know of a folio case that fits it well? She wants something that covers the screen, but doesn't need/want the keyboard. Doesn't seem to be anything custom made for it out there.
Certainly, Touchpad!
Touchpad came with wireless charging, this one doesn't
