Tempting, but unlock policy pretty sucks. In this case, I interpret the phone will be locked for 24 months - a huge hassle if you want to travel internationally without paying for their crazy high roaming fee.

Yep, which is very expensive if compared to buying an eSIM (only doable if you have an unlocked eSIM capable phone).

Good for you. So did you have to try multiple times? Or got lucky the first time? Just mentioned international travel and despite of pending payments, they unlocked? If so, I might buy it and give it a try. Might flip on unlock, since I dont need them..

Got it on the first try. Yes, I requested a temporary unlock. It was actually quite easy. YMMV , good luck

i would not do GV.

best way i have found is that there are usually few folks
that will give port numbers
typically fee is $5 amazon gift card

there are 2 sellers i have personal experience with
