The SAE set has equivalents to the missing metric sizes. 7/16 is 11mm, 9/16 is 14mm.
I have both sae and metric sets and they DO NOT WORK with a friction ring impact wrenches. I have a 12v Mileaukee stubby and the bits fall off the anvil. They work fine on the Milwaukee ratchet with the detent pin anvil.
In the description *Created for use with 1/4" impact drivers*

I've looked into these prior and had a hard time determining if they'd work with an impact wrench, not just an impact driver. Hoping someone here can chime in. According to reviews they've used them with hog ring and pin indent friction styles so that tells me impact wrench.

Edit - big words on the package - Impact Driver Socket Set, not for an impact wrench

You already answered with my solution, bought a single socket. I have a 12 pointed one and have changed out at least 5 annodes with it (camper and home) in the last 10 years, without nay issues stripping the head. If you just relieve pressure on the big tank, but leave it mostly full, it's my experience that it has enough weight to hold while using a regular socket without impact.
That sounds like a good idea. I forgot to turn off the water my first time and live in a high pressure area. The rod shot up and hit the roof, then water kept gushing up and hitting the roof. I cleaned it all up and I don't think any damage was done but lesson learned.

Oh, I found out 27 mm is about the same as 1 and 1/16 inch of you have that.
