There's your issue…it's 2022, no one uses vendor embedded operating systems and expects a good experience let alone support beyond a products end of life date….pick your popular platform (roku, Amazon, apple) invest in a stick/box and never worry about vendor embedded garbage again
It's the same 32 zones as the 65" and then 48 zones for the 75". I was really hoping they'd improve on the U6G in this area, not downgrade it 😔
People actually use the built in smart tv trash?

false lol... you want over 800 preferably 1000 nits to be "extremely good". That is what it takes for fire to look like fire.
Maybe this is my issue too. All of my embedded apps work great except Hulu. It has been a pain for the last two years. If I clear the cache it will run... sometimes. But it starts, buffers, stops, non-stop, and I didn't think using my stick would make a difference. Thanks for the tip.
It's still a major security risk regardless if you use a streaming stick or not. Stop defending these companies that put their users at risk

To be fair, they did preface that with "The average TV is 250-350 nits."
So I would say over 500 nits would be extremely good for a tv anywhere near this price category. 🤷
Works great on my Sony, but I never go into a Hisense or TCL thinking I'm going to use the built in system. Heck, I even think the C1 and LG's WebOS is terrible and that is top of the line.
I agree that WebOS is hot garbage, hard to believe its attached to LG. First had to wait almost a year for them to start supporting HBO Max on their platform, and nowadays their catalog is still lacking even the most basic streaming apps like AMC+
