Hi Mom and Dad, I'm all grown up now and I've had a whole life outside this house, but times are tough out there and we got foreclosed on and now we have to live here again.
No politics this time, but all the same dysfunction you grew to love when we lived across the street. Let the party begin.

One of the complaints recently about TP was the alleged non-uniform enforcement of the rules.
Some of the rules there were quite inflexible, like using the Admiral Ackbar "It's A Trap" meme being considered always offensive and directed towards the LGBTQ community regardless of intent or context of usage.
Not to mention that I had a stalker who repeatedly followed me into other threads to repeat the same crap at me. Reporting it did nothing and posting a thread asking if it was considered stalking got ME a moderation for my troubles.
Meanwhile even after venturing into the podium a few times here I think I've only received a few warnings in the years I've been here. Of course it helps that I had the experience from that other forum and learning to just ignore or report people trying to get me to respond poorly.
As an environmentalist I just can't justify more than 2. My wife and I actually looked into adopting for a while but it didn't work out. The foster care system was a nightmare to deal with and private adoption was too expensive.
