I bought this ENERGIZER X400 Rechargeable Pen Light a few months ago. I used it for 40 minute walks. It died within 2 weeks, or after less than 10 hours of use. I believe a solder joint failed, but there is no way to open the flashlight for repair. Messages to Amazon and Energizer have gone unanswered.
Basically, I have been robbed by Amazon and Energizer.

just buy another one now and return the old one with the new order

This pen light is nice, but gets very hot on high. I don't use it on high for more than a few minutes at a time. It states 1-hour runtime on high, but I can't see it lasting when it gets so hot you can't touch the head.
