From various sites:

"In 2015 we imported 138 million pounds of garlic- a fair chunk of it labeled as "organic". Chinese garlic is bleached with a chemical broth that stops sprouting and then is often disinfected with methyl bromide- a known toxin that causes respiratory and central nerve system damage."

"A considerable amount of the garlic produced in China is toxic: Chinese farmers, in order to boost and increase production, use chemicals and pesticides, and treat their produce with substances which would be strictly forbidden in Europe."
Very nice but do NOT buy garlic sourced from China.

Original for sure. Look at the "premium" Ingredients. First ingredient is yellow corn meal. McCormick Premium Taco Seasoning Mix, 24 oz https://a.co/d/1F4gB9K

Original has "spices" as first ingredient and the only filler is potato starch down the list.

Subscribe and save items come on your monthly set date. Mine is the 4th, but S&S items aren't processed that fast, so my delivery of these will be Oct. 4 now. You can get it in 2 days, but not with the added S&S discounts.

Anyone else mildly bothered by the promo pictures showing a 3/4 full container?

"Guys we're about to take the picture fill it the rest of the way up"

Edit: you know on second thought this is brilliant. All those calls of people saying my container is not full. Sold by weight not by volume explanation can be skipped and just say. Did you look at the damn picture before you bought it? It's not full on there either!

Whoever the idiot that have the thumbs down, it's a very great piece of advice. Chinese garlic, look it up. I only buy California grown.
