Just posting in case folks with Cashback were wishing chipotle was 20% off at discover rewards. Up to $200 physical or e- certificate. I recommend get one card with total amount to avoid getting stuck with small gift card balances since only one gift card loaded in the app at one time

Hmmm, in California, if a gift card is less than $10, you can take it to the store and ask for the balance in cash. This seems exploitable, though also way too much work now that I say it out loud.

I hate the chipotle around me. Worst service ever. Always running out of food at 4 pm. I asked a kid are you making more fajitas vegetables he said not tonight.

Yeah, the one near my work is pretty awful. We drive a extra 20 minutes round trip to the one in the next city if we want it for lunch.


Also as far as this being a deal I cashed in a bunch of cashback on Friday and I picked up the $100 for $80. Didn't really think of it as a "slickdeal" since I've seen the 20% on multiple food places in the past. But then again I usually sort by % bonus and buy the ones that get me the highest benefit, might as well if you can use them.

Not that much work if you plan it right. If you know your meal is $14.57, get $20 cards. Each time you'll get remainder back.
Back long time ago, I did same for Old Navy Gift card. They would give back cash for less then $5, though there was no rule so not sure company or store policy. Anyway I'd get bunch of discounted small denomination gift cards and every time I shopped, I'd get cashback.

Does anyone know how to add to gift card in the app? So the balance is there when you go to make a purchase? Doesn't appear to be very straight forward.

Nevermind, I was able to figure it out. I had a past giftcard in my account with a zero balance. Once I removed it, it allowed me to add it to my account. Good deal.

Same issue in my area. Since covid something or other missing. Chipotle use to be our family dinner every sunday night. Not anymore
