I've stopped buying flash memory cards from Amazon due to all the counterfeits. It was ridiculous because EVO Select is an Amazon-exclusive brand, yet Amazon has listings from third party sellers offering it. Long ago I did get what seemed to be a fake EVO Select card - wouldn't hit the minimum speeds the card was rated for (its actual speed was supposed to be much higher)
But it shouldn't be an issue with Samsung memory cards anymore. They now put out a tool which can verify if a card or flash drive is authentic. Scroll down to the bottom to "Samsung Memory Card & UFD Authentication Utility". Download it, pop the card in, and run it. It'll tell you if it's genuine.

Why Samsung has never built a 1TB Micro SD card, even with QLC flash memory? SanDisk sold them for years and even PNY, Team and Lexar have their 1TB options.
3x64gb for $19.99
It's the cheapest I've seen for a high end card of this size. Definitely jumping on a few.

There's a reason Samsung doesn't say what the write speeds is for this 2nd generation EVO Select - it's about 58MB/s for me using h2testw which I find to be more real-world realistic (91MB/s on the read). There's also a reason Samsung sells the previous generation (white/green card) for more as it's actually faster on the write speeds (for me about 78MB/s). For those looking for 100MB/s writing, look at the Pro Plus..and the reader is actually pretty good and on sale is only $2 more at times.
My results: USB 3.1 Gen 2 desktop workstation using Samsung's own reader for 64GB & 128GB EVO Select (1st Gen/Green-White), 128GB EVO Select (2nd Gen-Blue), and Pro Plus 128GB & 256GB (dark blue).
Test Parameters:
- Desktop system with Intel i7 2600
- USB 3.0 PCIe card
- Windows 10 with latest updates
- Lexar UHS-II reader [amazon.com] connected to cheapo USB 3.0 hub
Results for h2testw (all available space):
Test finished without errors.
You can now delete the test files *.h2w or verify them again.
Writing speed: 98.0 MByte/s
Reading speed: 114 MByte/s
