I would rather do that instead of doing all the rebates here to get effectively $135 on Newegg.

though it's worth noting that the 3.5 star rating they give it is based on the $200 price it was selling for at the time.
Also worth noting that you'll only be able to install four sata hard drives into the case (although with the right motherboard I guess you could install an m.2 drive and still have four sata ports left over to give you 5 hard drives effectively connected in total) .. for the size of the case this really surprised me though I imagine that would be plenty for a lot of people....

I'm debating if I want to get a second one. This comes with 3x SP120 fans, that's normally $80. For $40, I can have spare parts or maybe even sell on Facebook without fans.

I do like white cases but prefer the dark tint glass on this version. It looks more seamless than the white version (too much grey).
I'm upgrading from a deep cool matrexx 70. That case is fine, but I like the build quality and engineering on this one better.
I'll reuse that case for an older system.
I just spent $100 on a case I don't really need so I'm not keen on spending more.
Here's a tip for those not looking to spend more: move the top of the 3 fans to the rear. That will increase airflow and drop temps by a few degrees.
Add more intake fans to the side and you will get good enough airflow in lieu of getting a mesh front panel. I think it looks way better with glass panel than mesh.
5000d is the base model. 5000d airflow is the optimized version for airflow. The 5000x was designed for looks with 3 glass panels and premium rgb fans + controller. 5000t is the new hybrid model combining looks + airflow.
The 5000x's airflow is actually quite decent as its intake paths are deeper than most other cases with glass front. Same for the top vents. The gaps are over 1" deep.
$95 for the 5000x is a steal.
