Here is another bike on clearance for $98 free s/h (was 398).

Men's 27.5" Decathlon ST100 [walmart.com]

I realize this is not the same level of the original post but good deal for a bike.

LOL at thumbs down. Some people will down anything…

Amex Everyday Bluecash supposedly 3% for online orders, YMMV if this counts for pickup...

In for one. I bought a bike for $20 that needed work yesterday....so that's backburner now LOL.

Standover means little as the important measurement is the top tube. Nobody worries about standover with both feet straddling the top tube, especially on a mt bike.
Lol. The stand over height is height of the top tube where you stand over it. πŸ˜†
Ask the person who finds themself in a situation having to put both feet on the ground and the top bar is crashing into their junk if they have any worries πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Inseam as in the pants inseam? If mine is 32, will this bike work for me?
This would be just a little small imo if you are a 32. I would try a 20. Best bet would be to go to a bike shop and try a few between this size and 21.

Great bike for the money. I bought one of these when they came out in 2020 and rode the hell out of it, only upgrading as necessary (hydraulic brakes were within the first month) until earlier this year. Fork is heavy, wheels are heavy, tires are heavy. Now the only thing left factory Schwinn on the bike is the frame, everything else has been replaced. Put about 1k miles on the bike with just the brakes and crankset upgraded though.
Crankset (between pedals thing?) Advice ? I went through 2 axums because whatever thing is inside the area between pedals kept breaking, loud creaking noise, etc after a couple of off road rides, slight mud . Thankfully walmart 90 day returns....

Nah, axums are big bikes. I'm 6ft 1ish , 32 inseam, and this bike rides fine.

For those who picked it up in store, does the bike come in a box or does it come preassembled?

Well I am 6'2" - 210 and a 34" inseam. I know an XL would be ideal but they don't have that one on sale and I ride my bike probably 15 times a year. Road and light gravelly trails.
I hope this works for me.

That would be the bottom bracket.

Just because it "rides fine" does not mean it is the best size for you. lol I can guarantee a 20 would be better. Unless you are really 5'11" with a 30" inseam like most who claim to be 6'1" are. Get out of here. Best advice is to go try different bike sizes if you don't know what yours is. The measurement is universal, you can't just say "oogabooga, this brand big".

First time I went with the IXF crankset and bottom bracket along with a 32t chainring from Amazon and that was probably about 700 trouble free miles before I swapped it out for a SRAM GX dub crankset/bb when I put on the new wheels and drivetrain.

Very true. I was riding a 26 mongoose tyax comp in 18 for a while because that's what I got 300 bucks. But I'm REALLY 6'2 and 6'3 with no haircut, then I got a Giant talon 29er in 20 I guess. Man it was totally a different feel. On giant I felt like I was riding on the bike but on mongoose I felt like it was riding the bike.

Bikes that are one size small are still okay but I got tired too quickly are they are too nimble.
