Yeah....t-mobile deals not as good as last year.

So, my calculation for two phone 14s this year is:
Phone 1 = $719.99
Phone 2 = $719.99
Taxes $86.40 (6% sales tax)
Total = $1,526.38
Rebate = $630
Total = $896.38

If you assume 3 months of $20 per line plans ($180 total), your total out out pocket for two unlocked iphone 14 is $1076.38 (or $538.19 each).

For new T mobile customers, you can try something like this:
1. Bring your own devices and create an account with T mobile with 2 new lines (You will be eligible for a $300 x 2 = $600 gift card)
2. Try to open this new account with T mobile essential plan. If the kiosk guy gives you hard time, open with Magneta Max. Once you walk out of the Costco store, contact T force on twitter/facebook and inform them you want to downgrade your plan
3. Wait a couple of days, go back to Costco and tell them you want to add one more line. Because you already have 2 paid lines this new 3rd line will be free. Buy Your 2 new iPhones.
3. You will receive a $600 gift card in about 14 weeks and a $630 rebase card in about 5 weeks.

Total Out of Pocket :
3 lines cost around 4 months on the essential plan - $360 + Tax
2 Iphones(14) cost - $1440 + 6% = $1526

Total Rebate = $600 + $630 = $1230
Total Spend = $360 + Tax + $1526 = $1886 + Tax

Net Cost for 2 Iphones = $1886 - $1230 = $656 + Tax
1, one of the BYOD line was upgraded to new iphone for the BOGO, is it ok to get the $300 ? is there any time length to keep the device before upgrading it?
2, can T mobile new plan hold 6 lines?

Isn't the T-Mobile website offering $700? It's basically a BOGO deal on their website + $200 a line port in, + free activation if you do it online

Can I go for $300 BYOD offer for T-Mobile in Costco (moving from AT&T), and next day order iPhone 14 pro with $1000 off Magenta Max trade-in offer?

Can I cancel the extra line (not being used and is free) I have first, then add a line as mentioned here to qualify? I think then I get an extra line for free.

So what you are saying is that Apple is good at adding features that attract ppl to upgrade?

Might not seem like a huge upgrade but it is a clever software implementation around a hardware hurdle (the notch).
It is a downgrade considering sim tray was removed. The annoying notch just doesn't go away. No one needs or wants dynamic island.

They did. They estimated that 85% of sales will go to pro models, but they are trying to sell the non-pro ones first.
Source? I find it hard to believe that the base iP14 + the Pro Max + the new Max will collectively share only 15% of series 14 sales. . .even from SD members, much less the masses that just want the cheapest entry into ip14 series (and new for this year the cheapest big iPhone)

Read again, he said pro models = pro and pro max
Regular iPhone 14 and 14 plus will be ~15%

Makes sense though since iPhone 14 buyers will look at iPhone 13 for cheaper price also the sim card slot situation.

This is bull crap. They lure you to come to the warehouse, leave with a couple of hundred dollars in groceries and no iPhone since it's out of stock. They did that last year too. I am not bothering ever again with those deals
That's why I always go to return things at Costco, when deals like these crop up. Always
