I bought one of these a bit over a year ago as well (seller was secondipity) and have had 0 problems. Luckily, my batteries are still going strong. Great little vacuum.
This just isn't true. You might be comparing the wrong series of each brand of vacuum, for example the Dyson V10/V11 must be compared to a $400-$500 LG / Samsung, not a base refurb model like this one.

All 3 companies offer vacuums with similar levels of power (measured in suction in terms of AW) and battery life (measured in runtime length) for each price bracket. In fact one might argue LG has the best battery life of the three as some of their models come with 2 swappable batteries where they are usually sold separately for Dyson and Samsung.
I bought a refurbished one a little over a year ago, and both batteries have gotten to the point where they barely last more than a few minutes

I wish they had something to nicely organize the accessories. I got the deal last time with the Total Care Kit and have no place to neatly store all of the extra pieces so I have to hide them away, making it less convenient.

Anyone find anything better than just getting a small bin to dump them in?
My only complaint is storing the accessories.
I got the A9 from Costco so warranty issues are nonexistent.
If you have hardwood floors, the fluffy head is a must and works great.

Got Dyson and LG Zero. Dyson all the way. The only pro is the two batteries from LG.

Same for me with accessory storage. I actually quite love this vacuum, but want better storage for the total care kit accessories. There are lots of 3rd party accessory hangers for the Dyson vacs, but I havent been able to find any for the LG. Makes me wish I knew how to design models for 3D printing!

I don't recommend this vacuum. It's physically fragile with small parts that will break very easily. My dock latch and dirt canister lid broke within a month.

Get from Costco when it's on sale so you can return should there be a need to

Happy A9 user here for the last year. Honestly my only complaint is that it does not have the 3rd party accessory support (yet), but it's pretty nice out of the box. Some of the comments in here are obviously by people who don't own the vacuum or don't understand how the speed control button works.

After trying LG and Samsung cordless stick vacs, realized that Dyson has no real competition when it comes to power and battery life. Stick to Dyson V10/V11 for best price-performance ratio.

Not a deal. Home Depot has this brand new for 299 and with more accessories (probably oos now).

Wait for BF or Xmas deal.
