I'm pretty good at getting these products tuned to have a JBL soundstage
My settings for my motion boom plus pair are:
+5 +3 -7 -6 -5 -4 0 +1 +2
70 150 300 600 1.2k 2.5k 5k 9k 14khz
And for my motion boom pair:
+5 +3 0 -6 -5 -1 +2 +4 +6
This speaker can NOT be touched by anything in this price or size/weight range. It's extremely loud and has good bass at low-mid volumes. Will crush a JBL Extreme in overall sound if that is important to you.
Yes, the Tribit Stormbox Blast is louder/better, but also weights well over twice as much and is so large it's not even portable for smaller people.

Ahh I was so close to grabbing this speaker, but then I came across the iKing d9 & d11. In the same price range as both motion booms but way higher rms & they appear to have amazing clarity & bass! I bought the D9 & it sounds great, but I'm still skeptical how the motion booms weight up 🤔
