Got the deal. It was slick, thanks. No where else on the internet where you can get $400 for this 2 year old phone. $40 to trade in for a brand new phone, better processor, WiFi chip, next generation. No brainer.

For people that say the A71 5G is better, I have been using it and it sucks, seems like the processor is really slow.

Having actually used both extensively...
6a is better in every regard except for battery and smaller screen size. But I actually prefer the smaller screen. It's only maybe 10% better, it is an upgrade but not by much.

I did the trade in last week. I am replacing my phone every 2 years and I cannot imagine that someone will give me $300 for my A71 5g in near future + pixel gas better camera. That's pretty much the only two reasons I did the trade in. I don't see pixel 6a as big step up. Samsung had better screen, jack, size.

I always took it for granted that pixel os is superior to Samsung bloat... More than makes up for marginal hardware variance

Yep. Nothing they can do for me. "The trade-in value of the device is set by our partners who receive the trade-in device and complete the evaluation for the traded device."

We don't have option to change it after device shipped.

Thanks OP, trading in my A71 5g. There are some cons of course, no expandable storage, no headphone jack.

But its a 2019 phone trading in for 2022 phone for almost $90 (taxes are calculated at original $400+ price).

Wasn't planning on upgrading, but this deal is too tempting.
