EVGA has instant rebates on their B-stock items including power supplies and GPUs. I looked online and found associate codes that dropped the GPU price down 3% and the PS price down 10%. Hopefully it doesnt mess up my order

Here are some sample deals that I thought were good.
$30 -EVGA 600 GD, 80+ GOLD 600W, Power Supply 100-GD-0600-R3
$35 -EVGA 650 BQ, 80+ BRONZE 650W, Semi Modular, Power Supply 110-BQ-0650-RX
$45 -EVGA SuperNOVA 750 GT, 80 Plus Gold 750W, Fully Modular OOS
$440 - EVGA GeForce RTX 3070 XC3 ULTRA GAMING

I ordered the 3070xc, and the SuperNova750GT. I know the 40 series is coming out. But it looks like the $900, 4080 8GB is the new 70 series.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

CAUTION: Be careful when shopping EVGA B-stock PSUs. If the PSU you're looking at shows a listing of the included cables, then the cable set is usually short compared to the retail version of that PSU. For instance, the $45 SuperNOVA 750 GT that the OP bought only includes 1 8-pin EPS/CPU cable and only 1 SATA cable whereas the retail/new version includes 2 of each. Before you buy, check your motherboard to see how many 8-pin EPS/CPU cables it requires. If it only needs one, then you're all set.

From my experience, if the included cables are not specifically listed, then you'll get the full cable set.

Warning: Do not use cables from another PSU unless they're from the same make and model of PSU. For instance, if sometime later, you need an additional SATA cable, do not try using one from a Corsair PSU. There is NO industry standard for PSU cables and the pin configurations vary between manufacturers and even between models of the same manufacturer.
I'll miss your video cards, EVGA. Godspeed and I hope you come out a better company after this Nvidia fiasco.
While you bad mouth the other manufactures who work with Nvidia, you are aware that Nvidia undercuts all the companies they do business with, right? All these other companies have to spend money on R&D to push the limits of the Nvidia GPU. Then Nvidia comes in and undercuts them by several hundred dollars. That's why EVGA left them. All the other's confirm the same info. At the rate Nvidia is going, they are going to push other companies away. If enough leave, AMD or Intel will gladly move forward and clearly have the supply chain advantage.
Nvidia can NOT make enough product to supply the market alone! Nvidia needs the others. If you're going to only buy the product from Nvidia, it might be out of reach (monetarily speaking) in the near future.
As to the Power supplies, I've only had one EVGA go and it was quickly replaced. Of course that was NOT a "B" product. Make sure you plan to use it and not buy as a back up as this might not be wise to use a "B" PS as it might be out of warranty by the time you need it. EVGA has some awesome warranties on their "A" list PS's. One of my last ones was for about 13 years or so. Peace

EVGA doesn't "make" PSUs. They're rebranded Chinese manufactured units.
That's not exactly true, Yes they do outsource them but they do the design work on them and have them built to their spec.

pick any model and search Toms hardware and you'll find who actually makes them

Example:
All G6 models are fully modular and use an upgraded version of Seasonic's viral Focus Gold platform. The cooling fan uses a fluid dynamic bearing for a longer lifetime, the dimensions are compact with only 140mm depth, and finally, the provided warranty is long at ten years.

The GT models are made by HEC
G2 and G3 line are Super Flower
GQ and G5 and G7 are FSP
GA is Andyson

I've used dozens of b stock PSUs in builds. I still have 5 on a self. Never had a single issue. They are just scratch & dent and a lot of times idk where the scratch or dent even is. Great budget option IMO.

Does anyone know what will happen to those who purchased 10years extended warranty on graphics cards if the card stops working after 7 years?

I own this it has treated me well although initially it had some minor coil whine but it went away after a month.

EVGA is supposedly keeping spare stock for warranty coverage.

Looks like EVGA is giving nvidia the middle finger. As should we all, given the pricy monstrosities they just came up with.

I just installed a retail 750 G6 today, but it has an annoying coil whine. I'm sensitive to these high-pitched squeals. Found this odd for a tier A, Seasonic built PSU. I pulled it out, back to my aging but silent Seasonic. I'd take a go at this 750 GT (HEC), but worried that B-stock might include these noisy unit returns. Decisions...

I have an EVGA 500W paired with 1060 and been going strong for last 4 years.

I will probably upgrade my 1060 3gb gpu if the price the right on BF which will also need PS upgrade. This B-stock is with only 1 year warranty How is Slickdealers experience with this B stock? My last power supply(non-B stock) has been rock solid till now.

So in the 850 and above range which model is either the best deal or best model. Is there some wiki explaining their model numbers?

IMO EVGA made a good call. The GPU market is going to be tough without mining. Nvidia's crazy prices arent helping either.

I'm on Slickdeals to discuss deals not to read opinion pieces on what some random person thinks about EVGA or dropping a congratulations like it means anything to anyone.

Anyway, are any of the GPU deals really slick?

I've had middling/bad results with EVGA B-stock motherboards. I don't think the PSU is the place to take a chance on something that was returned for SOME reason. I can pay $60 for comparable units to what SuperFlower has on Newegg for $90. I'll take the odds with the superior SuperFlower.

10% on power supplies, but 3% on graphics cards. Still, I'll take it.
