ALERT: this mouse has the stiffest scroll wheel I've ever seen. And it's very easy to misclick the wheel instead of scroll it since it's too stiff. I opened it up and lube it but not effective. I ended up with stiffening up the clicking stiffness by a hair rubber band, quick and dirty solution, just to avoid misclicking

I have the viper mini and deathadder v2 mini.

I like both of them, but I liked the sensor in the deathadder much better, primarily for it's lift off distance. The viper I felt like every time I tried to lift the mouse the cursor went haywire. I tried to offset that in the software, which for the most part worked, but it was mostly just adjusting my usage. It became comfortable after some time, but it took exactly that: time.

The viper also got pretty creaky after some use too. didn't affect the performance, but sometimes it got annoying to hear it squeak and creak while using it.

I found it's pretty good for finger grip users as well.

Finding the right mouse can be an art form. First, define what sort of grip you primarily use (finger/claw/palm), then define what size you need based on your hand size, then go from there.

Also, white/grey is kind of cool. It goes well with our white desk with white full size desk pad and dark grey keyboard. It also goes well with wood grains on the speakers and other furniture surrounding. Not everything has to be black.

Does the scroll wheel tilt left and right? Couldn't find the answer anywhere on their page.

It looks too simple, outdated, and unappealing, like a mouse from the early 2000s.
Please stop! I can only get so excited?

I"m using a Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical now and its only downside is the lack of forward and back buttons.

Plus, have you see the shoes that kids are wearing now? It's like grandpa white and grey is back in style.

Dafuq is the use case for a wireless one?

you sit AT YOUR DESK in front of the screen. Why would you be replacing batteries when you can just use USB power?

if the wire is ever an issue, you are doing something wrong.
tell me you've never tried a wireless mouse without telling me you've never tried a wireless mouse

I feel like most of the people posting are playing tomb raider,

$22 for this mouse is an incredible deal. I own both the wired and wireless versions.

Yes: both to use the extra buttons and prevent the damn mouse from alternating colors all the time.

Best hardware, worst software - no linux or mac support.

Certain mice you can switch to a key bind and write to the mouse on Win64, but the fact that there's no way to kill the light is absurd.

Linux does have razer compatible rgb software which lets you turn on off the light. you can also turn on off the light using windows software, and it will stay off

If you can point me to some docs, I'd appreciate it. I've looked. I'll poke around some more.
