I bought this deal the first time it came around also. The monitors just huge. Too big for gaming in my opinion, I took it back and got a 27-inch like I used to have. That's the sweet spot for me, your results May vary

Mathematically, 32" @ 2K makes everything the same size as a 24" @ 1080p.

I use three 32" 2K monitors at home and at the office. They are perfect IMHO.

This looks like a great deal depending on needs. I think it is too large personally for me. 1440 at this size is not ideal for text unless your work with lots of windows. Honestly, sitting at a desk with a 27" 1440 just feels right and I couldn't imagine this large a screen 20" from my face in my current setup.
I thought so too but just got used to it. Text is acceptable and it's a great VFM proposition. This is at 23 inches from me and works.

I read it when I was thinking about it on the previous deal.

This HP X32 does not freeze and almost run game scenes at the same time, which means no lag when playing online games. However, this X32 only supports 2560x1440 (QuadHD) instead of the full 4K, and also no Nvidia G-Sync support, and only one DisplayPort 1.4 and one HDMI 2.0 port.

It's a review comment, but the specs don't say anything about G-Sync. I hope it does though.

I'm looking at this exclusively for office use. seems good, nice brightness, would prefer 4k over the 165 refresh but most of the 4k I find at good prices have low brightness

Great monitor. Very bright. Unfortunately I had to return it because it didn't work with my Mac Mini
