I got the 17.3" Lenovo with 3060 for $862, but was suuuper tempted to get that $1000 one with the 3070. I just don't game on the laptop so the 3060 was more than enough, and yes I wanted it for the screen and it still had the 1TB SSD. Hope people get the laptops they want! So many great deals it looks like lately.
Yep hopefully BF wont be a disappointment like the last two years. I still would have went for the $1000 one though because better CPU and GPU means that laptop could last an extra year before needed to be replaced.

in stock for shipping 1299.99 shipped and sold by walmart
I bought that laptop weeks ago sold & shipped by walmart (so I wouldn't get scammed) so I could return it to the store and buy it again for the $899 in-store price. They sent me a cheap $35 smart watch in a small box and it took many attempts over many days to get them to refund the money. Luckily the actual package dims and weight were shown with the tracking information, and they still didn't want to admit it until I sent them the timestamped video from the doorbell of the package being delivered.

Lenovo have better build quality, but is last gen CPU, and $200 more. And...Gigabyte pretty much have no support in USA.
How is MSI's support in the USA? Looking at the deal from Costco right now and while I know MSI as a brand, I didn't think about its support in the US like Gigabyte.

That being said, I do have an Aorus Gaming Box RX 580 and it has been good to me for 3+ years.

I bought a clearance display model of last year's MSI from Costco. From what I was told, you contact Costco tech support instead of MSI.
Usually I would hesitate to buy display model laptop, but Costco is known for their customer service and 2+2 year (Costco anywhere card) warranty is enough to persuade me.

Posting a comment to let everyone one know that Gigabyte has the absolute WORST build quality, and customer service. I had a Gigabyte Aero 15 4K GTX 3060

Flickering screen, loud fans, atrocious bloat ware that causes jet engine roar even on just light browsing.

I spent $50 USD to send it in for repair on screen flickering, really trying to give the laptop another shot.

They sent it back in the exact same state, screen still flickers.

I eventually gave up, and sold at a huge loss.

Check /r/Gigabyte for even more horror stories, there's an unending supply of them.

Don't even THINK you can roll the dice and get a decent laptop. With this company, it is very low chances.

4k is good. But on a small laptop screen you will have to use scaling. Windows scaling is not that good. And the screen is 60Hz. If not for gaming, that would make more sense.

And more importantly? a better video card and more hard drive space.
