Anecdotal, as all reviews are, but bought 6 of these (256GB version) about a year and a half ago and installed them in some Dell Optiplex PC's that were being donated to a local library. All of them are still working today. All disks can fail, which is why you should have multiple copies of your most valuable data.
You can check my post history. Nobody's paid me a dime, I just defend products that I really like and trash talk products I've had issues with. My trash talk lead to Red Pocket mobile refunding me a couple hundred dollars for a situation they did me wrong on, so I think it's important to let other slickdealers know about good and bad products on here. I.T. and home theater is my career and I have built and upgraded hundreds of systems, Teamgroup is my go to for bang for buck in most cases. If I had issues with their products, I'd be on here letting people know about it.
I've been through hundreds of Teamgroup SSDs in my builds for customers and personal use. I've replaced more Samsungs (and a surprising number of Sandisks) than Teamgroup SSDs.

All statistics is made of individual data points. Over a representative pool, they gain more statistical significance.

This would be more believable in a forum where shilling and promotions for Team product wasn't so rampant.

With Windows 10 or 11 and how some of the hardware is locked down, how do you migrate from one ssd to another? Is there a good brand of an adaptor so you can clone the disk? Any recommended process or videos on the best way to do this? I just received the Acer deal that was posted a couple of weeks ago and may want to upgrade the 256 drive.

I presume you would need to use something like this to clone. Other users can correct

One of the better SSD companies out there. Not going to try and milk you to death with high prices like Samsung, SK Hynix and Micron.

ok. If you say so. You have had zero or one failures of Team but have had failures in every brand. Very believable.

" I've been through hundreds in personal and business builds by now and have had more defective Samsungs, WDs, and Sandisk than Teamgroup drives. Bad drives happen to everyone at random. Except PNY. Nobody likes them laugh out loud"

" I'll take the Crucial or Team ones for the same price over this any day. I've had a lot of PNY failures over the years."

" I've went through hundreds of Teamgroup SSDs now on personal and customer builds over the last 7 years with zero bad units. Out of a hundred Samsung and WD/Sandisk SSDs, I've had six bad ones. "

" Teamgroup all day long"

" I've installed hundreds of Teamgroup SSDs in business and personal machines in the last 6-7 years and have had no failures. I know my results aren't typical but your results aren't typical, either"

" Teamgroup has been around since the late nineties, I've bought and sold hundreds of their SSDs and memory pairs over the past five years or so. One SSD failure so far. I've had more Samsung and WD failures over the same amount of time"

Not all disks can fail, all disks WILL fail it's inevitable.
