I got this last year. Really like this Impact, also have the new mid torque, seem about the same just larger.

I got this deal last year. The impact was strong enough to pull off some very rusty lug nuts on a neglected dodge ram, the kind of rusty lug nuts that you'd normally jump on the end of a short breaker bar to get loose. The ratchet has a lower break free torque than I was expecting, but works great at spending up disassembly once nuts/bolts are loosened. There are definitely more powerful tools on the market, but no regrets at $200 and I'm super cheap.

I have both of these from prior deals and am pleased. The impact is plenty for most if not all automotive uses. The ratchet while lacking break free torque is still very useful to speed up 90% of fastening and you can use it manually to either break free or finish torqueing a bolt.

I'm trying to figure out whether to bite the bullet on the 1/2" or go with this to remove some very rusty nuts on my boat trailer. I know from a numbers perspective it's not what the 1/2" fuel model is, but do you think this could pull it off (pun intended)?
