Yeah, this is a pretty old tool. It's been far surpassed in size/power by the newer options but should still get the job done in a lot of applications.

I feel like 450 ft/lbs is a lot of torque. What application would you need more for that?
It's plenty of torque for most things on most cars, would probably even be enough for the infamous Honda crank bolt when using a weighted socket, but it could fail on heavily rusted suspension stuff.
More modern tools will have a similar torque rating in a smaller package to be able to fit into tighter spaces or, if this big, will have gargantuan levels of torque for working on semis and bulldozers (or those super rusted suspension components).
I just remember last year it was a cheap entry way into have the 12V and 18V batteries.
Says 640 ft lb in reverse and 450 ft lb in forward. That is plenty for home type stuff. Plenty for passenger wheels where most lug nuts are 80 ft lb to 120 ft lb.
