I have both of these, the Mandalorian version never triggers "fast wireless charging" mode on my phone (S22 Ultra and previous Note20 Ultra). The Falcon does every time though. Using the included cable and charging block they came with.
People with MagSafe?
I mean, I agree the question about magsafe compatibility was.... well stupid.

AFAIK there are ZERO third party magsafe chargers that are also officially licensed to some other IP (Star Wars, TMNT, Playboy, MadeUpStudio, etc).

And it should generally just be obvious at this point, that all Qi certified chargers will work with any device as its literally the open standard.

All that being said... Magsafe is really nice. I never set my phone down on a Qi pad anymore if theres a Magsafe version of a charger available (like in my house where I have a half dozen of the OG Samsung hockey puck wireless chargers in a drawer now... just in case?)

It's literally a tiny innovation that makes wireless charging feel snazzy.

Or to say Apple is incredibly good at selling "new" features that everyone already have but the users think they're the greatest invention ever.
No MMS in first iphone
No video recording until 3GS
First 2-button mouse in 2005
...
Yes, but also simplistic. Xerox developed the original GUI, but Apple is the one that engineered it into the form we see today. Saehan Information Systems launched the first consumer mp3 player, but the iPod became the standard.

Apple's claim to fame isn't being the first to invent anything, rather it is that they are first to get it 'right', ala the iPhone.

They absolutely pillaged developments from others (so does every other tech company), and they fail at times (Newton anyone?). Still a better ecosystem at the moment than the competition.

The (god I hate this word) synergy between their various product lines is unparalleled at current. Is the Homepod the best at what it does? Absolutely not. Siri? Resounding no.
Macbook? Actually... this ones solid. AppleTV? Really overpriced and software issues. IPhone? I mean it's good as a whole, but plenty of competitors beat it in select features. Apple Watch? Again solid, but lacks some features of other products. IPad? Tradeoffs again, but still ubiquitous for a reason.

No other ecosystem comes close for user friendly interoperability. And that's worth something.

I just bought an iPhone 14 pro. There are a lot of good features, but the one thing I can not understand is the lack of a back button. When I have to go back, generally I now have to hit the top left-hand corner, opposite side to my right-handed thumb, forcing me to use two hands to use the phone. But the back button is not always top left, it can be top right (IG stories), bottom right (edit photos), or bottom left (web browsers).

While I will get used to this in time, one button, with one function, in one location throughout the phone is the better way.

Don't take what I am saying to imply iPhones are not good, they are, but so are all high-end phones.

The apps are supposed to allow a back swipe. Contact the devs.

Swipe from the left edge of the screen to go back. Swipe from other edge to go forward.

This doesn't charge very quickly, but I bought it when it was previously on sale to sit on the bar in my mancave so folks had a charging option when hanging out, and I get complimented every time someone sees it.

Whoa, this definitely feels like the cheapest we've ever seen it. I bought one of these around last Christmas. It isn't MagSafe compatible and it does charge pretty slowly, but no slower than the third party charging pad I have for my phone at home. I keep the Falcon in the office, and it has become a bit of conversation starter when people see it. Plus the lights and detailing are neat. Recommended. I'm tempted to by the Mando one for home.

Do rewards coupons stack with promos? Like a $10 coupon that you redeem for 10,000 points. I feel like I've run into trouble with those and/or the $5 monthly rewards. Hope someone knows so I don't waste any points or have to deal with customer service to get them back.

Just here to advise purchases last time. Mine works great just need to make sure the light turns blue. Then you know it's charging. Not the fastest but does work pretty good.

This thing sticking off the back of your phone while charging seems like the most uncomfortable thing ever. Even slim/light magsafe chargers have issues holding solid in my experience

My iPhone slides off of this all the time

This is a great price - I bought it for $20 or $25 and love having this on my desk. The level of detail and even weathering makes it look great just sitting there. I purchased these laptop stand things [amazon.com] to stick on the bottom so I could angle it or make it stand higher like it's floating on my black desk. The ring on the top is rubberized and it helps keep it from sliding (with my previous phone/case).

I recently upgraded from the iPhone SE to the 14 and the new case is a little more slick. The camera bump on the case makes getting it into the right charging spot slightly more tricky because of the size of the rubber ring, but having it light up when you're charging helps. But it sometimes will slide if I'm getting text and phone is on vibrate. There are no magnets in this charger so even though I have a Magsafe compatible case...it doesn't do anything in that sense. Highly recommend if you're any bit of a SW fan.

I purchased a MagSafe car charger and it included 3 magnetic rings. I wonder if you could superglue one of those to the charger to ensure it is perfectly aligned. It's a nice feature.

A debate involving Apple is just tiring as it's clearly overpriced trash at this point and only meant for casual computer users.
