I wonder if the Dell $50 off stacks with the current $120 off promotion for a total of $170 off
I'm looking for another SSD for my desktop PC. I want 1-2TB and could go with either NVME or 2.5". Dell has:
$110 [dell.com] WD Blue SN570 NVMe SSD WDS100T3B0C - SSD - 1 TB = $80 [bestbuy.com] at BestBuy, so $20 savings, or 25% off.
$125 [dell.com] Samsung 870 QVO MZ-77Q1T0B 1 TB = $90 [amazon.com] at Amazon, so $15 savings, or 17% off
$135 [dell.com] WD Red SA500 NAS SATA SSD WDS100T1R0B - 1 TB - M.2 = $100 [bestbuy.com] at BestBuy, so $15 savings, or 15% off
$137 [dell.com] Samsung 870 EVO MZ-77E1T0E - 1 TB = $105 [bestbuy.com] at BestBuy, so $18 savings, or 17% off

So these products are $15-20 less than buying elsewhere, after the $50 credit. Fine if that's exactly the product you wanted, but nothing like 50% off that would make me pull the trigger.
I guess that cheapest one for $60 is the cheapest 1TB SSD you can find?
Dang, 50% off Dell is amazing… assuming you limit yourself to just $100 purchase 😂

Reviving this thread from last year

Last year I participated in the similar offer from Amex/ Dell and purchased xbox gift cards

Yesterday I received an email (yes for last year order) that there is an unpaid balance from [email protected]

Dear Customer,

According to Dell's records, your account reflects an outstanding unpaid balance. Dell requests that you remit payment of this balance upon receipt of this notice. Below is a list of all outstanding invoices:
Invoice details ....

If you believe that this payment was made out to Dell, we recommend that you reach out to your Bank to have this clarified for you.

If you wish to remit the payment by credit card, please call the phone number provided below.

Should you prefer to remit payment by check, please reference your above invoice numbers/order number, and mail payment to the following address:

Though I intent not to respond, just wanted to share this here.

What is the reason they'd claim you have an unpaid balance? Did you get double reimbursed last year, for example on a purchase made with an amex offer that also used Amex Business Platinum Dell credits?

No . The only thing i could think is that the terms stated Gift card purchase as an exclusion . Nothing other than that

The AMEX Statement Credit is exactly that - a credit to you AMEX Statement. It has nothing to do with DELL other than than it being a promo offer triggered by making a purchase at DELL. When you place the Order at DELL you are paying the full amount just like anyone else and then receive a credit on your AMEX Card. You would not have any monies owed to DELL. Something is very wrong here.
