The other deal with the shop towels is better because you can cancel the towels and get the money back from them. Not only that, but the towels are billed separately absurdly high. They are billing at like $14.xx or so per towel. That means you get the jug of oil for like 6.xx per jug. That's before any rebate.

Say what? There is no such thing. None of what you said make any sense and that "general rule" is not in any book. Use the oil weight recommended by your vehicle's manufacturer.

I called the phone number 1-866-707-6737 about my invalid rebate (press 5 and wait to talk to a representative). She said all paper I submitted were valid. But they are waiting for Amazon for reply that my purchase is valid. She said wait 3 more weeks. And it has been 3-4 more weeks since they flagged my rebate is invalid. Now I have to wait for 3 more weeks.

So totaly, you need to wait at least 14 weeks (6-8 weeks to receive the rebate is invalid or valid), then if it's invalid, they waiting for Amazon to reply that my order did get shipped. And what if Amazon never reply???

Totally BS on the rebate from Pennzoil. Don't expect getting your rebate approved.

I just filed the rebate. The confirmation said I would get an email $25 gift card from over 100 premium life style merchants. What?? Did anyone get their rebates yet? I thought this would come as a regular debit card or check.

They are even thinning transmission fluid to get better economy... and it will kill your trans at 60-100K if you don't change that cooking oil out often. Thanks, I will use up the 0w-20 oil I have, rather than purchase 0w-16. I doubt that my dealer even uses the 0w-16. Frankly, I do not trust dealerships, but that is a different issue.

I did not get my rebates yet and I submitted it online on 10/06. The online status check says " In-process" for more than a month.

Yea I though it was a visa gift card but they give u a $25 credit to "shop" for a gift card from preselected companies. Trash if u ask me. I'm going with Apple Card cuz I pay for monthly subscriptions anyway. I guess it's as good as cash in that regard.
