Tbh this should've been $40 at release. I'm really getting tired of the resale of older games. Especially for a game that's one generation old. The added content is what I want this game for but it's not that much. I'm literally paying $10 per hour of gameplay. Also please start rumors for sunshine 2 so we can get a sunshine 2 going off fake hype
My kids liked this game, but I had a difficult time playing it...the controls and camera views were difficult for me...I am usually pretty good with 3D games. I agree, this should have been less during initial release, but if you can pick it up for less, its still not bad.
This is my favorite game, bought 2 copies for friends and also had the Wii U version. Very highly recommended for solo play but even better with friends

I picked up several first party games digitally from game stop for >$30 last Black Friday. I'm holding out for something like that.
The Wii U game is fun, the Bowsers Fury section just made me want to play the 3D World version. Not that it's horrible, it just feels with the sluggishness of the map it was either rushed or needs to be on a more powerful console that isn't the Switch. My two cents

That's the thing with Nintendo though is the games retain value during the life of the console and after the end life of the console. Kinda like a bond if you buy the game on sale and can probably sell it for the same price if not more 5 years later. Just like the same game being released for all 3 consoles, Switch probably runs the worst, but 2 years later it'll still be full price while the PlayStation and Xbox title will be $20.
