Trade in values for Pixel 6 series towards Pixel 7 Series
Pixel 6 128 GB - $440
Pixel 6 Pro 128GB - $480
These values are not great particularly for Pro, compared to what Samsung offers to their previous gen.

Pixel 6 pro should have at least get $600 trade in value.

Can I buy a Pixel 7 unlocked from Google and use on Verizon instead of paying the extra $100 for a Verizon Pixel 7 with mwave capability which Verizon does not have in my area yet?
Will Verizon let it in their system?
Of course, the unlocked version is compatible with Verizon. The extra mwave capability is only of benefit in very specific areas and it's certainly not worth the extra $100 for most people.

Strange.. I've got a Chase Freedom card linked to my PayPal account and use it all the time but when I try to check out with PayPal through the Google Store, the Freedom card doesn't show as an option. I see people have been paying with PayPal but is it actually hitting their Freedom card?

Hmmm...this deal for the 7 Pro with a $490 (S21) trade-in credit and $290 store credit, or Best Buy with a $460 trade-in credit and a $200 store credit? I'm struggling to see what I would buy at the Google store. What do you all plan to buy with the credit?
The new nest pro Wi-Fi units will be great

That simply cannot be the case. There are hundreds of reviews of Pixel 6 pro camera reaching to the conclusion that it's one of the best, and the guy says it's the worst imaginable cam. Again, it simply cannot be the case. To be honest, his post reads like an Apple fanboy. A person cannot be that d*mb to have those problems and not return the phone. That is why I asked him whether he returned it or not.
We live in a world where a product can be two things at once. I'm sure there are plenty of reviewers who have a wonderful experience with their Pixel 6 camera. But all you have to do is type in Pixel 6 overheating issue and you will know that this is also a reality of Pixel 6 ownership. I does not matter how good of a picture the camera takes if it just over heated after the 2 picture and you just missed you child blowing out their birthday candles. He said his camera is a disappointment and to MANY their Pixel 6 has been a disappointment. So because of Google POOR Quality Control (that I have gong through on my MULTIPLE 5a's) BOTH of these can be true. Many find the camera amazing... and many can find it to be disappointing. I am getting a Pixel 7 Pro with little faith that the phone will actually be able to record 4K video for more than 3 min. However, I'm getting $350 in credit for the trash phone that is my 5a (again I loved my 2XL)... so that is the risk I am taking.

Anyone enrolls or tried Pixel Pass.
It looks interesting, though I already traded my Pixel 6 Pro for Pixel 7 Pro.
I called them to get more details.
As per them without Trade in Pixel pass is $55/Month for 24 months ( $1320) and with a Pixel 6 Pro trade in it would be $35/m for 24 months ( $840).
After 24 months you owned the phone and then, you can also upgrade by trade in the phone.
Now, a few good things are you get YouTube premium, 200GB storage and a few other things.
I was not clear and they couldn't answer is after two years, when I trade, I would continue to pay $35/m or it will reduce or increase they don't have an answer.
Overall with all things considered I let it pass as I am not clear whether it's a good deal or not.

Okay cool. Something weird going on on my end then.

I had mine set as the preferred method of payment but it still showed the other card on PayPal as the only option. I removed that other card so Freedom was the only method of payment and when I try to add PayPal to Google Payments it redirects me to PayPal where it asks me to add a credit card. If I enter the Freedom info, it throws an error:

This card can't be used for your payment or added to your PayPal account. Try a different card.

So far I had an excellent experience with Pixel 6 Pro camera not sure about Pixel 6, but I opted out for Pixel 7 Pro because of few annoying issues with Pixel 6 Pro with little faith in Google.

The 4% Cashback site dropped to 2% today, right? I believe I'm on the correct one.

Just FYI, still a good deal, but Discover is probably going to clawback 5% of the $540 credit.

Ugh, yeah, just looked through the store and nothing I need/want. Accessories all cheaper elsewhere, their smart-home products aren't z-wave/zigbee and non-cloud-shackled. Starting to wonder if I made the right decision to buy at Google, but was swayed because the P3 trade-in value of $247 was way better than BB. If trade-in values more similar, it wouldn't have been a decision, but I guess $30 BB P3 trade-in + $100 gift card < $247 P3 google trade-in, and if I can somehow find something to spend the additional $100 at Google, I'm even further ahead.

If I sign up for Google One today, would the 10% discount apply immediately to the Pixel purchase, or for the purchase after?
