My 12" frying pan (SD5 2nd quality) arrived on Wednesday (ordered during last weeks sale). I was expecting a somewhat noticeable blemish or major scratch but it looks flawless.
I've inspected it several times and the only possible thing I could find is a very very light small scratch on the underside of the pan. Only found it after the 3rd time looking for an imperfection. I have a metal grate so I'm sure it would have gotten scratched eventually from use. It's on the bottom so I'll never see it, unless my pan is upside down, and it obviously won't affect cooking at all.
I've been using the same $15 TFal for 7 years for essentially every meal I've made. I'm pretty excited to use something nice that doesn't have teflon. I just hope I don't screw up cause I've heard cooking with stainless takes some getting used to.
