According to the representative, this is because TIV_normal is processes as a GC and it has to be applied after the checkout, so the tax is charged on that part. Don't know if this is all true to CA or other states.

- I've done in-store trade-ins a few times at Best Buy. They only do a cursory look at the phone, to make sure it matches the color and condition. They don't care if it is carrier locked or is still being financed. -RonaldM

1. Go to the "Order Details" page for your order on bestbuy.com. This page likely says "Shipping Kit on its way" for the trade in status.
2. Open Developer Console in Chrome. Navigate to the "Networks" tab and reload the page.
3. Search for "trade" in the search box.
4. You should see 3 results - the third begins with "2002..." for me. Click on this one.
5. Click on "tradeInStatusInfo" -> "fulfillment" -> "tracking".
You will see the tracking number of the return shipping UPS label. You should also see a "isBoxShipped" field that likely reflects if your trade-in kit has shipped yet.

OneUI is *NOT* stock Android AT ALL. It's THE most bloated skin shipped on a US device.
The S22U is definitely superior to the Pixel 6. That's not the question. The question is, is the S22U still superior to the 7 Pro? I'm going to bet beyond raw specs, it's not.
The big question mark for me is the modem but otherwise, I'm not really all that worried about it.
Bloatwares? Have you used recent one UI? Except three or four apps, most of the samsung apps can be uninstalled. Underhood, the bloatwares won't bother anybody and not different from devices from any non-google manufactory.
one example a few months back was people buying a Samsung galaxy phone with enhanced trade in values which included a gift card. then they return the phone and keep the full value of the gift card. then Best Buy caught up and changed the system.

We are never going to agree on this stuff. I think Samsung is the worst phone manufacturer anyone can buy a flagship from and I discourage anyone from supporting them.
