1. Go to the "Order Details" page for your order on bestbuy.com. This page likely says "Shipping Kit on its way" for the trade in status.
2. Open Developer Console in Chrome. Navigate to the "Networks" tab and reload the page.
3. Search for "trade" in the search box.
4. You should see 3 results - the third begins with "2002..." for me. Click on this one.
5. Click on "tradeInStatusInfo" -> "fulfillment" -> "tracking".
You will see the tracking number of the return shipping UPS label. You should also see a "isBoxShipped" field that likely reflects if your trade-in kit has shipped yet.

Allow you time to transfer to new phone and good to go. Already shows the reduced price in my file and received the GC.
I never buy brand new phones but with the trade in and GC this was an amazing deal no hassle with getting rid of old phone. 198.00 (counting GC as cash) after tax for 3 year upgrade to brand new flagship phone.... not bad at all.

That's the way it's done in store. I talked to the manager about it but it's really a moot point because the receipt you get in email has all the details spelled out. I got mine on a Friday so the 480 for the trade didn't show up until monday.

I'm trading in our Samsung S21s we got last December on the TMO signup/cancel deal for $400 (~$424 after tax) here.
So depending on if BB charges tax on $599 or $139 ($599 P7 minus $460 S21 trade in), this little fiasco is gonna cost us anywhere from $45 to $65 per to get into the P7. I didn't wanna wait on the GC from the first order to roll it into the second order. We'll easily figure out a way to blow $200 in BB GC with the up coming bdays and holidays.
Our latest phone path has been P3a -> S21 -> P7.
I'm a Pixel homer, I knew getting into the S21 was gonna potentially be dicey for us, but at the time the deal seemed better than getting into a P5a. I really tried to like the Samsung'd up flavor of Android but dangit Samsung? Why ya gotta church it up? SO. MUCH. BLOAT. Even tweaking it with a custom launcher and icon pack I could never get it to really feel like a pure Pixel. And of course my dear wife made sure to point it out whenever she could that she didn't like the S21 and missed her old Pixel 3a. So yeah, gonna be nice getting back into the pure Pixel Android experience. Pixel call screening will be much welcom./ed.
Now to find a slim TPU wallet case for the P7 that can hold 2-3 credit cards. I'm McClovin not having to carry round a Costanza Wallet anymore.
