- NJ: When I did an in-store pickup of an online-order, tax was automatically calculated on (price - TIV_promo - TIV_normal). But when I did an in-store purchasing today, tax was calculated on (price - TIV_promo). According to the representative, this is because TIV_normal is processes as a GC and it has to be applied after the checkout, so the tax is charged on that part. Don't know if this is all true to CA or other states.

- I've done in-store trade-ins a few times at Best Buy. They only do a cursory look at the phone, to make sure it matches the color and condition. They don't care if it is carrier locked or is still being financed. -RonaldM

1. Go to the "Order Details" page for your order on bestbuy.com. This page likely says "Shipping Kit on its way" for the trade in status.
2. Open Developer Console in Chrome. Navigate to the "Networks" tab and reload the page.
3. Search for "trade" in the search box.
4. You should see 3 results - the third begins with "2002..." for me. Click on this one.
5. Click on "tradeInStatusInfo" -> "fulfillment" -> "tracking".
You will see the tracking number of the return shipping UPS label. You should also see a "isBoxShipped" field that likely reflects if your trade-in kit has shipped yet.

I want to trade in my S22U for a normal pixel 7, but even the larger version is 20 dollars shy.
I wouldn't mind saying the screen is damaged, but even that is 6 dollars over on the 128.

Other stores like Amazon or Google shows 2 day delivery.
Always had a problem with Best Buy delivery dates.

Cost of Pixel 7 : 599 + 59.9(taxes) = ~659
Trade In XS Max : 300(promo trade) + 175(device value) + 17.5(tax) = 492.5
Net cost = 659 - 300- 175-17.5 = 166.5
Also, for the mail tradein, it's expected the entire amount(492.5) will come back to cc or will it be partial across BB GC and CC ?

Anyone here with pre-order for P7 Snow and ETA on 10/18 in the same boat? My other orders have Pixel 6 for trade-in but this one was placed with iPhone XR and BB in-store rep told me I can't trade-in the iPhone on an order that I picked Pixel 6 as the trade-in device.
