I got a refurbished iPhone Xr last spring from TF. It didn't unlock after 60 days, I was told that the device was initially activated before 11/23/2021. For devices activated prior to that date the minimum service requirement is 1 year. could not get Cr to budge. In June I traded it (still locked to TF) in for $700 off iPhone 13 Pro max on ATT at Costco without any issues.
Battery health was 100%
Some people mention a bad replacement screen on reconditioned TF iPhones - I didn't notice any issues with screen.
In August I got another reconditioned XR with $50 off promo (6000 TF rewards points) primarily as a backup for kids when they will eventually break their iPhones. The screen felt a little laggy on that one, not sure if this is due to replacement screen. Battery health still 100%

Just a quick note: holy crap these are really badly refurbished, or at least the two phones I got. One had a super slow screen and the screen would visible move into the case when pushing on it, so Best Buy refused my trade in.

Curiosity got the best of me so I opened it up. It was entirely missing the adhesive gasket on the inside edge, and the Face ID/ambient light sensor portion was installed incorrectly so True Tone always made the screen yellow b/c it couldn't read the ambient light outside. They hadn't even fully ripped off the protective blue sticker on the inside of the display.

What does it say when you text UNLOCK to 611611? You may need to call the Unlocking Department at 1-888-442-5102.

No response after I texted UNLOCK to 611611. Called 1-888-442-5102, and was just given a generic answer that the phone would be unlocked after 60 days.

Sometimes I need to restart the phone to get a response from UNLOCK. (Text BAL to get balance, then UNLOCK but no response. After phone restart text UNLOCK and got a response.)

When you join the rewards program with a referral code (5K-8K) or add new lines (7K-10K) to your account, you get bonus points (won't expire as long as there is at least 1 active line in account). You can use the points to redeem phone discount codes (expire 60 days after issued). 6K-20K for $50-$300 off coupon codes.

Agreed, I need an iPhone 11/12/13 with at least 128gb storage since 64gb on an iPhone is not sufficient for me. What was the storage on the 11 that you waiting for to be in stock again from tracfone?

Tracfone only offers the lowest storage option for iPhones, 64GB on 11. (Good for low usage or trade-ins, I got $490 value to purchase a Pixel 7 at Best Buy)
