I got a refurbished iPhone Xr last spring from TF. It didn't unlock after 60 days, I was told that the device was initially activated before 11/23/2021. For devices activated prior to that date the minimum service requirement is 1 year. could not get Cr to budge. In June I traded it (still locked to TF) in for $700 off iPhone 13 Pro max on ATT at Costco without any issues.
Battery health was 100%
Some people mention a bad replacement screen on reconditioned TF iPhones - I didn't notice any issues with screen.
In August I got another reconditioned XR with $50 off promo (6000 TF rewards points) primarily as a backup for kids when they will eventually break their iPhones. The screen felt a little laggy on that one, not sure if this is due to replacement screen. Battery health still 100%

Nope nothing comes up when I search with my order id. I have not been charged so I guess it fell through the cracks 😔

BTW, it showed up back as available again a few days ago when I randomly checked but I snoozed and once I wanted to order a few hours later it was gone again. But it may make sense to sporadically go there and search for reconditioned and see if anything pops up.

Similar to you UNLOCK generic response, I was on 60th day mark and website did not allow me. Called them, per CSR needs one more day for allowing to unlock. Hopefully I will be able to tomorrow.

And I got an unlocked message automatically without requesting today. Tested works with T-Mobile fine

What is the normal lead time for delivery of refurbished phones When you say I assume it is delivered are there scenarios where it will not be delivered

Refurb phones seem to take about a week to receive from them, in general. However, their supply comes in batches and it may sometimes take a few weeks if they run out of stock. Or, the order can occasionally be canceled altogether. Their ordering system can be a bit flaky sometimes.

However, I don't see the XR refurbs on their site any more. They might come back at some point, but you never know.

I got mine delivered after a month after ordering on Feb 14. Can this be used on my existing line and get it unlocked or do I need to activate as new number and extend service for 60 days . Also is it 60 days just one more payment for 30 days or is it 2 more payments for unlock
