if you call beach or buydig directly, they have been at this price out the door...so saved you a few hundred.

Its been sub 2200 for a long time, hell the retail price is 2499 now.

They'll bring it into your room of choice, unbox it, and make sure everything works

I just bought a 65" a80j from the last Prime deal. I received it, the picture is incredible, but I couldn't help but think.....I wish this was 77". Well, here we are at the tail end of my return window and I think this is the move.

This is the deal I promised I would buy if it came around ($1999 for 77") and I still hesitated for 2 hours hoping it would just sell out and I could save the money.

Sony A80J is superior to the A80K, brighter better processing.

Hurry and buy as won't last long.
The A80J offers VRR support now, but it doesn't have a dedicated Dolby Vision game mode. Apparently MediaTek is working on adding that feature to their 2023 SoC. The TV also it messes with HDR when you enable VRR, ALLM is also not good. Auto-dimming kicks in and it's a wrap, if you want to use that feature on a Sony A80J. Nice tv if you are getting it for size and movies and TV., also hate tha Sony skimps on the gimped two HDMI 2.1 ports

I had the same debate. The app kept showing the 5% cashback through the process of checking out with 0% financing over 12 months through Amazon. Visa took away the 5% cashback if I took the prime card "payments over 18 months" offer. It seems to me that Visa will give the 5% if you finance through Amazon since all they really "see" is payments to Amazon.com monthly. If you finance through Visa they aren't giving you the Cashback.

I have no way of knowing whether this is 100% accurate but I went that direction. I debated the Costco card for the extra year of warranty as well but then I was considering how that conversation would go with Citi if I actually had to claim warranty in year 3 due to payment plan, etc. It's not a "straight forward receipt."

I guess I'm living on the edge with 1+1 year warranty but extended warranty battles are exhausting and seem to only get more difficult as time goes on. I'll take the $100 off (potentially in cashback) and hope if something goes wrong it's in the first 2 years.

I didn't give you a clear answer but figured I could share my perspective to help with your decision. Good luck.

I am replacing my basement tv so brightness isn't an issue. Decisions decisions, I told myself I would pull the trigger on a 77 c1 at 2000.

Walmart 75" x95J or this..... decision...we do have a bright room though

Read my previous message. 😀 I would go with x95j for a bright room. It's not oled but I bet it'll perform better in a bright room.

Bought a few months ago at $2499, pulled trigger on this for -$500 and 0% for 18 months with free deluxe delivery. Side bar, selected the free deluxe delivery on the last one and they refused to unpack and put on the tv stand. Amazon had "no record of that selection". I screen shot it this time. All in all, exceptional TV.

Sorry, out of the loop — which app gives 5% cashback on Visa?
