Nothing really too complex/advanced...meaning the app and its admin functions that is. It's really meant for "hands-off" users...just set it and forget it type.
BUT, this is not for those who want/need more advanced network options, power users, or those who want a mesh system that does not require one to have a TP-Link account and to have their mobile app installed.
Outside of that, it works just fine: ~4000 sq ft house on 1/3 acre lot and family of 5 with three boys game streaming etc...
Note, BestBuy carries the "Pro" version of this with the main difference being it has a 2.5 ethernet port: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/tp-l...Id=6508223
Costco's set has a custom name, like AXE5300 whereas the non-costco is XE75. Funny enough the XE75 is supposed to be capable of 5400 (vs the costco named AXE5300) speeds between the 3 bands. This unit has a 2.4, 5, and 6 ghz band.
Like the other commenter, the app has very few functions but as a set and forget unit it's fantastic. In general, I really like it. Lack of selective options is the downside of the unit. You can't pick the channel for any of the frequencies. I get 1.9 Gbps link speed from my AX210 intel wifi card from about 12 feet away from the unit, and it lets me have essentially gigabit speed access to my NAS on my wired network, e.g. 100-125 MBps. It does support a wired backhaul, but all ports are gigabit. So funny enough, theoretically if your wifi signal is strong enough, then the wifi performance could be better than wired gigabit performance. In reality, I doubt this will happen.
All units are the same, so if you buy the 3 unit, you could sell 1 of the units or buy random single units from other people.
I like it a lot, I've used it for 5-6 months, no problems, even with 2-3 firmware updates. Just know you don't have as much control over different settings on your router/mesh network. At a cheaper price, I'd buy it for my in-laws... and that's saying a lot.
