Of course I just paid $199 for this the other day. I guess I'll be rebuying and returning.

Good deal

- Tri-band
- Supports wired backhaul

I know some systems require a subscription for additional features, but I'm not seeing anything like that here.

I picked up the ax5000 3 pack from Costco for 199. Would this be better? I don't really need 3 of them.

That is a deal. I'm going to return the three pack from Costco for this one. I don't three in my home.

Hopefully it's still on sale at Costco. If I can remember it was a little bit better. They do have this model on sale at Costco too.

Worked for me, thanks. I've been looking to go the mesh WiFi route and these do seem to be generally well reviewed. WiFi 7 is super expensive and I figure by the time that becomes mainstream in 5+ years prices will have dropped.

The single one also has $30 coupon. Just ordered 1-pack and 2-pack, $250 + tax.

Thanks OP! Just bought the AXE5300 from Costco which is the exact same model as this except a different top. I may need only two units instead of the three that the Costco one comes with. The AXE5300 is Costco exclusive. Will be returning that one and keeping the AXE5400

We got the Costco deal about 4 months ago, and have been very happy with it. We wired only the main unit and it uses the 6e band for wireless backhaul.

I get 800 down from my provider with Ethernet and using these, I can get 500-700 wirelessly.

We're moving it to a new house where I might wire the three nodes directly. That would free up the 6e band for use, tho I don't think I have a device yet that will take advantage of it, but wired backhaul will be more stable anyway.

is there any difference between this and AXE 5300. i am not too happy with the costco model with dead zones and dropping signal (could also be my iphone that has been acting up since ios 17$
